Our team of consultants, under PAN Diaspora Capital Management, LLC, seeks to raise Equity and/or Debt for an ongoing or start up enterprise. More specifically, we work best with Clients seeking a minimum of $10 to 20 million in Private Equity or Venture Capital. Considering the consensus reached at the recent EMPEA conference in Washington DC, our pool of investors has a regional focus on Ghana, Liberia, Côte d’Ivoire and Sierra Leone. Southern Africa, East Africa and Mauritius are also of interest.
Richard Remy is the President of PAN Diaspora Capital Management LLC, with PAN Africa Network, an African Expert Network under its umbrella, that organizes quarterly panel events in the US and Europe, with sporadic forums and trade missions in Africa. PAN Africa Network seeks to serve as an incubator and accelerator to connect project developers, entrepreneurs, investors and experts via a mentorship matchmaking program, with the goal of collective work towards greater development of the African continent. Richard has over 10 years of international investment banking experience with capital markets, project finance, engineering, project management and business development skills, operating in emerging and developed markets. He has held previous positions at Halcyon Cabot Partners, deVere Group, Tate&Lyle, Norsk Hydro, EDF GDF-Suez.
Before working with MN Capital as an Advisor, Richard was associated with the New York investment banking firm Halcyon Cabot Partners, where he provided strategic investment consulting to microcap companies with specific funding needs, he ensured recommendations were aligned with company’s strategic objectives and goals. He partnered with law firms to negotiate financial structuring (ranging from $5M-$30M) between investors and clients.
Part of his consultancy work in Africa is to collaborate with local entrepreneurs to structure resource acquisitions and mobilization strategies, as well as defining the overall project framework, budget and financing needs where appropriate for deals ranging from $2M-$5M, in the social housing construction building and agribusiness equipment financing space.
Richard received a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with Honors from UCBL Lyon I and a Diploma in Business Management from University of London.
Richard is originally from Martinique in the West Indies. He speaks fluent English, French and intermediate Spanish and has worked and lived in France, Norway, the UK, China, the US and Africa.
Kwame Dougan is Ghanaian brother, founder and Managing Partner of iYa Ventures (“iYa”), an investment company dedicated to supporting formidable African startups. Kwame focuses on identifying ventures that meet iYa’ s investment profile and on building constructive relationships with partners in private enterprise, government and academia.
He received his BA in political science from York University in Canada, magna cum laude, his J.D. from Columbia University, graduating as a Parker Fellow, an L.L.M from Amsterdam University, and an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics, where he was a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar.
Levin has ten years of senior management experience and has led successful commercial efforts into markets in Africa, South East Asia, the Middle East, South America, Europe, and the United States.

Anna Namakula is a financial analyst by training with over seven years of experience focusing on retirement accounts. She has a BBA in Finance and Investment Banking from Baruch College, in New York, NY as well as an MBA with a focus on Health Care Administration from St.Peter’s University in Jersey City, NJ.
She previously worked with Great West Life and Annuity Insurance Company in New York, where she managed retirement funds for all NYC employees and she also counseled clients with multiple accounts including beneficiary and periodic accounts as well as daily transfers to other custodians in excess of $1 million.
She recently moved back to Uganda, where she currently co-owns two businesses in Uganda which include an eUS online retail project under Milianna’s Treasures as well as Tedmak Poultry Farm, where she focuses on layers from Netherlands. It is with Tedmak where she is currently in the process of becoming a certified organic farmer with Jakana Foods so she can export her produce to US.
She is currently harvesting organic passion fruits with her family under the guidance of Danish Agro Connect where she will export these to Denmark while she plans on including more fruits for the project.
Peter currently works for Innovare Advisors in a business development capacity where his responsibilities include strategy and marketing for an African agribusiness equipment lease financing facility. He has 8 years of experience in financial services ranging from trading to asset management to environmental markets.
In 2013, he returned to business school at University of Cape Town GSB for his MBA where he focused on social innovation, entrepreneurship and emerging/frontier markets. Highlights from the program include a microconsignment pilot program with Johannesburg-based urban gardening firm, Reel Gardening; the company has since partnered with Unilever. Peter was also part of a team that travelledto Zambia to perform an onsite operational/financial due diligence of Chayton Africa, a large commercial farm operation owned by Stellenbosch-based and JSE-listed, Zeder Investments (ZED).
Since returning home, Peter remains affiliated with Generation Ubuntu, a Khayeltsha-based children’s HIV/AIDS upliftment/well-being charity, and serves on the Auxiliary Board. Peter is extremely dedicated to the facilitation of investment into the continent and can be found at most Africa events around NewYork City.
Armel Bokam is a results-oriented professional with a strong entrepreneurial flair and a solid foundation in strategic planning and product management. Over the course of his career, he has helped multinational brands build customer loyalty by focusing on exceptional customer experience and multichannel flexibility that drives growth and profitability.Whether advising a Chinese’s investment company on its bid for a multi-million dollars project in Central Africa, or conducting market research on the technology and mining sectors with a goal to identify potential global business partners for the Ministry of Mines in Cameroon, Armel has been able to leverage his unique relationships and expertise in Africa to advise government officials and business leaders and help develop projects in the continent.
Armel has an MBA from NYU Stern school of business and is currently acting as the COO of a media tech firm that he co-founded in 2014.
